Financial burden of homeownership spread unequally - Yahoo! News
In typical AP fashion, nobody is ever responsible for their own actions, it's always somebody else's fault that people are too stupid to manage their own finances.
I'm sorry, but if you paid more for your house than you could afford, then took out equity so you could buy a car or new furniture you are a dumbass and it's your own fault.

The hardest step in recovery is accepting that I am right.
Congratulations on your first step. :eusa_angel:

*grins* I never used credit ... cash only. If I can't afford it and it's not food then I don't need it.

I used credit to buy my house 14 years ago. I used credit to buy my oldest daughter a car, but that was paid off a few years ago. Paid cash for my youngest daughters car (got a little help from my sister, my ex-wife and both sets of grandparents for that). Everything is a cash basis for me for the last 8 years.
