The FBI announced Friday that it had arrested all five New Mexico compound suspects, days after multiple charges were dropped. The suspects were now being charged with violating federal firearms and conspiracy laws.

The State had first shot at the suspects, regardless of what the State outcomes were the Feds were ready with the Federal charges. It's highly possible the State's evidence was "weak" (so to speak) so the prosecutors allowed the evidentiary deadline to lapse on purpose so the Feds could have them.

FN.com reports, "District Judge Emilio Chavez on Wednesday dismissed charges against Lucas Morton, Subhannah Wahhaj and Hujrah Wahhaj, ruling that authorities violated the state’s “10-day rule.”

"Child abuse charges against them were dropped because prosecutors missed the 10-day limit for an evidentiary hearing to establish probable cause."

"During a separate hearing Wednesday, Judge Jeff McElroy dismissed the same charges against fellow defendants, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj and Jany Leveille."

Seems the primary witnesses in this case are traumatized children, who prosecutors may be reluctant to further traumatize so soon after being rescued from the horror show they were forced to endure.

Perhaps local prosecutors, knowing the feds would pick up the ball, intentionally dropped the ball, allowing the young primary witnesses more time to recover and begin healing before having to recount their ordeal to strangers?

Peace.

The FBI, like the free press, is an ENEMY of America. SHUT THEM DOWN.

I don't think this is surprising. Even if local charged had stuck, the feds would've moved in with these.

It's refreshing to see the FBI doing FBI stuff instead of trying to throw an election. New management I guess.
