Fast & Furious isn't going away

Gonzalez was forced to resign no? Reno & Holder have not been held accoutable for their horrific crimes. It's time for that to happen. Reno especially, has the blood of many innocent American women & children on her hands. She was never brought to justice. It's just a a disturbing pattern i've noticed with Democratic Attorney Generals. They seem to view fellow American Citizens as the enemy. Holder has to go. He is an enemy of the State.

Lest we see more scenarios as this:

Confirm and conform. Become the Statist you can be...or else...

Boy,talk about Nazi Storm Troopers? That was a terrible abuse of power by Reno. The woman has never been held accountable for her crimes. Holder hasn't either.

Yea, and Albert was a fucking saint, lmao. You idiots really want to make everything political as if it really has anything to do with which party is in power. It's laughable. This shit goes on from one administration to the next. The President and AG don't know half of what is going on from one agency to another until something bad happens. And even when they do, they don't care, because there is always a good reason for it. What is really funny about this is that if McCain were President, this same operation would have taken place, but now the Dems here would be blaming the Republican administration and the Republicans would be defending it. It's like a comedy show.

Your Taxpayer Dollars armed the Mexican Drug Cartels and caused an untold amount of brutal murders. Seems pretty criminal to me. Holder needs to be held accountable.

Like Iran Contra.... Only more transparent and without the President lying!
This is much larger than I/C by a long shot. I note that the Obama protectors better known as the media aren't covering this as they did on I/C...

He needs it as his presidency is floundering .

This program was conceived to give government an excuse for an all out assault on our 2nd amendment rights. I hope all involved rot in our worst prisons and some get tried for the murder of Brian Terry. May they all burn in hell!

It sounds like a sting to try and trace illegal gun sales to criminals, to include Mexican cartels like the Zetas.

In other words, to crack down on the guys conducting illegal weapons trafficking.

And it sounds like they botched it.

However, since the 2nd amendment fanatics talking point is always: "No new gun laws! Enforce the laws on the books!" I fail to see what the problem is with trying to keep weapons from being illegally distributed.

Law enforcement does this with narcotics all the time.

Does it look bad? Definitely. It's tragic a border guard was killed with a weapon our government put on the street.

What does this have to do with legitimate gun owners who legally have purchased weapons?

But there was more to it than that.

The Obama Adminstration made a claim that most guns used in Mexican violence were bought in the US. And people disputed that. so they were going to "prove" that was the case by catching them red-handed. As a result of a poitically motivated operation, 2000 guns got loose, like pouring gasoline on a fire.

Now we are in the "sacrificing underlings" stage of the scandal. Republicans need to keep pushing, find out who initiated this nonsense.

Ya Just gotta wonder about this..

Law enforcement has ALL sorts of dodgy tactics that wind up killing innocent people.

Like:
-No knock warrants.
-Undercovers buying and selling drugs.
-Undercovers in general (No identification making arrests)
-Law inforcement lying to suspects.
-Use of informants.
-Use of items bait cars and other items to entrap criminals.

And a myriad of other things that go horribly wrong a good amount of times.

NOT ONE PEEP from conservatives.

In fact..if any of this is brought up..Conservatives defend the government use of these tactics.

NOW..to track guns..under the Obama administration..it's a "problem".

Wonder why.. :eusa_whistle:

Well, yeah, it's a problem when you hand over guns to narco-terrorists and they kill law enforcement officers. That's a little more serious than using a "bait car" to catch a druggie...

I find it funny that you are still screaming about Iran-Contra 25 years later, but you don't think this giving weapons to terrorists on our own border is a big deal.

Why do Democratic Attorney Generals hate fellow American Citizens so much? Fellow Americans always seem to be their victims. It really is shocking that Reno & Holder have not been held accountable for their crimes. Those two are much bigger enemies of this Nation than anyone else. They're downright dangerous.

Why can't you discuss this issue without hyperbole?

Ruby Ridge was a screw up. Waco was a screw up.

However, in both cases, a catastrophe was prompted when American citizens refused to obey the law. If the government has a warrant, they are coming in. You don't just get to tell them to fuck off. That's the way the law works and has always worked, no matter how much you guys want to make it seem like this is some sort of fascist state.

Waco was a disaster because the BATF wanted a big showy arrest they could put on TV. They could have busted Koresh when he went out for his morning jog. Or gone in on Monday when all the Davidians were at their jobs and only a few people and the kids were at home. They chose to attack on a Sunday Morning.

There were other ways Holder could have proven that guns from the US were finding their way to the cartels. It would have been more legwork and required more documentation, but again, they had an agenda.

I don't argue that there is a legit law enforcement concern in both cases, but there were also political consideration that overrode good operational common sense.

The story begins in the fall of 2009, when the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) office in Phoenix, Arizona, began selling weapons to small-time gun buyers in the hopes of tracing them to major weapons traffickers along the southwestern border and into Mexico. Their efforts failed, the number of arms unaccounted for numbers around 1,500 as of late July, and about two-thirds of those guns ended up in Mexico, according to congressional testimony.

Okay. That's a classic STING operation. They were seeking to discovery the major players in the gun trade.

Tragically, the botched operation has had serious consequences. On the night of December 15, 2010, U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was shot and killed during an effort to catch several bandits targeting illegal immigrants in Arizona near the border. When law enforcement rushed to the scene, they discovered two of the killers’ assault rifles that were among those sold as part of Operation Fast and Furious. Additionally, 57 Fast and Furious weapons have been connected to at least an additional 11 violent crimes in the U.S.

And obviously the operation went SNAFU

In December 2010, ATF agent Vince Cefalu spoke out about the operation before the first reports on the story appeared in February. FoxNews.com reports that Cefalu said at the time, “Simply put, we knowingly let hundreds of guns and dozens of identified bad guys go across the border.” Other agents later came forward, congressional hearings have been held, and President Barack Obama called the operation “a serious mistake.” Cefalu, though, was forced to resign.

And the leader of this failed OP feel on his sword.

Shit happens.

The penalty for conducting an OP that fails ought to be the dismissal of those in charge of it.

What's the problem?

The problem was that the people above him who ordered the OP to start with.

The goal was to advance the president's gun grabbing agenda by creating a crisis. Because you never let a crisis go to waste.

Obama made a claim that lax gun laws in the US make it easier for Mexican criminals to get guns. This might be true. But then to try to prove the political point by dangerously introducing 2000 guns into the mix, and then losing track of them, just shows a high level of incompetence.

Holder should resign, and this is reason #397 why Obama should be a one term president.

Lawsuit Filed In DPD Bait Car Death | NBC Dallas-Fort Worth

Really now?

Dallas city council members have been briefed on a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family Anna Reyes who was killed when a suspect driving a police bait car hit the car she was driving, city documents show. They will vote Wednesday on whether or not to authorize a settlement of $245,000.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong all the fucking time?

I will pay you a dollar via paypal to the next relevant post you make.

Mike

She actually has a legitimate point here.

Thank you .

Every person who came out of the bush team and refused to back the lies were treated like a janitor who got canned for clocking in late too many times.

Disgruntled Employee was heard non stop for years.

Democratic Attorney Generals consider their own fellow Americans the enemy. I'm not sure why. It may have something to do with their Marxist-leanings. Much of Saul Alinsky's "Community Organizer" teachings do promote pitting American against American. Reno,Holder and Napolitano truly do believe you're the enemy. My guess is that this philosophy stems from their Marxist 'Divide & Conquer' indoctrination. Constantly calling your fellow Americans "Racists" & "Terrorists" does seem to be a common Socialist/Marxist/Progressive Democrat trait. It's very sad.

Does anyone else recall Obama telling Sarah Brady "We're working on gun control 'under the radar'"

link

We now have confirmation that in fact that top security officials in the White House were aware of the FFO. But yeah Obama and Holder knew nothing...<shaking head>

White House received emails about Fast and Furious gun-trafficking operation
Three national security officials were given some details about the operation. But an administration official says the emails do not prove that anyone in the White House was aware of the covert tactics of the program.

So you like whistle blowers now?

You used to call them all disgruntled Employees under Bush

Janet Reno got away with slaughtering fellow American Citizens and it looks like Holder will as well. But why? Because they're Democrats and our Mainstream Media is corrupt and biased. How can Holder still be Attorney General? It's mind boggling.

When?

Waco and Ruby Ridge, which then inspired Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols et al to do their thing. A jackass driving a getaway car without a license plate.

So you like whistle blowers now?

You used to call them all disgruntled Employees under Bush

Whistle blower? WTF! I never called anyone anything "under Bush" How irresponsible to attempt this kind of subterfuge. Is that always your game- pointing to supposed bad behavior to justify your guys behavior???

This is covert (non transparent) illegal behavior that has resulted in deaths- A program perpetrated by the DOJ and likely with the full knowledge and support of the White House! These guns will most likely end up being used in more crimes and killing more innocent people. Gun dealers were told by the ATF and the FBI to IGNORE suspicious behavior and to go ahead and sell guns ...and then some of these gun dealers were treated like the criminals!

Pull your head out of your third point of contact and take a breath of air to clear your brain...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

rewriting history again huh?

You are really going to sit there and pretend Didsgruntled Employee was not the Bush standard reply to people who left his admin and told what they saw?

Obviously you cannot defend the actions of the Obama Admin so you make broad brush claims of what supposed political bloggers did during the Bush years... YOU and people like you are the problem- definitely not the solution.

Holder should be arrested for Murder. Reno too.

Just hours after the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, federal officials tried to cover up evidence that the gun that killed Terry was one the government intentionally helped sell to the Mexican cartels in a weapons trafficking program known as Operation Fast and Furious.

The revelation comes just days after a huge shake-up of government officials who oversaw the failed anti-gun trafficking program and Congress renewed its demand for more answers.

Also late Thursday, Sen. Charles Grassley's office revealed that 21 more Fast and Furious guns have been found at violent crime scenes in Mexico. That is up from 11 the agency admitted just last month.

“The Justice Department has been less than forthcoming since day one, so the revisions here are hardly surprising, and the numbers will likely rise until the more than 1,000 guns that were allowed to fall into the hands of bad guys are recovered -- most likely years down the road," Grassley said in a statement released Thursday.
"What we’re still waiting for are the answers to the other questions the Attorney General failed to answer per our agreement. The cooperation of the Attorney General and his staff is needed if we’re ever going to get to the bottom of this disastrous policy and help the ATF and the department move forward.”

Head of ATF has already been reassigned...this is being swept under the rug. Had this been Reagan (Iran Contra)? Heads would roll...
