Expert Research Finds Homosexuality More Dangerous Than Smoking

Three gay threads started in 15 minutes Bass-tard.

Going for the record

or you just horny?

Do you have any research you can post links to that refute these findings?
Refute a "study" by a man who hates homosexuals so much he once stated he thinks "extermination" of gays should be an option.

You are just too funny Bass-tard.

basically you have no research to refute the findings, then that about settles it, next.

You can start with this, buckleboy:

Paul Cameron's Footprint

"You can learn more about how Paul Cameron’s history of deliberate misrepresentations got him in trouble with the psychological and sociological professions in “Paul Cameron vs. Professional Ethics.”

Eastern Psychological Association Responds To Cameron

"On April 4th, I contacted the Eastern Psychological Association and asked then for a response to Cameron’s claims for having presented his paper at the convention in March. The EPA was surprised to learn about it. On April 11, Dr. Phil Hineline, President of the EPA, responded to my request for a statement. You can read the Eastern Psychological Association's Statement in its entirety.
This isn’t the first time Paul Cameron has hijacked the reputation of a reputable organization or professional journal. It was just a year ago when he hoodwinked the Cambridge University Press’ Journal of Biosocial Science into publishing his bogus research. You can learn more about that in “Paul Cameron Conquers Cambridge.”

Then head here: Paul Cameron's World

Paul Cameron’s World

The SPLC said in 2005 that Cameron’s theories on homosexuality “echoes Nazi Germany.” They didn’t know the half of it. Cameron himself turned to a notorious concentration camp commandant to validate this theories.

For starters...

According to the data, you are correct.

In Denmark, the country with the longest history of gay marriage, for 1990-2002, married heterosexual men died at a median age of 74yrs., while the 561 partnered gays died at an average age of 51.

In Norway, married heterosexual men died at an average age of 77 and the 31 gays at 52 yrs. In Denmark, married women died at an average age of 78 yrs. compared to 56 yrs. for the 91 lesbians. In Norway, women married to men died at an average age of 81. v. 56 for the 6 lesbians.

either way the Bass is going to have to find a new substitute for his oral fixation.

That should read...According to Paul Cameron's bogus data.

I wouldn't call it bogus. Obtaining statistics for homosexuals is very difficult because they represent a protected group. For instance, try to obtain statistics on homosexuals that were physically and/or sexual abused as children. Most of the data is non-existent.

One thing is clear: Homosexuals do not live as long as heterosexuals. By how much, we can't be sure.

Any data is certain to be wildly skewed by HIV.

If 80% of homosexuals die at age 70, and 20% die at age 35 of HIV, it's going to skew the averages so that they are meaningless. In such a situation, being homosexual doesn't reduce your lifespan, but contracting HIV does.

Or, there are lies, damned lies, and statistics.

The study is methodologically flawed. It is not hard to understand why if you've remotely been paying attention.

Frisch and Brønnum-Hansen found that Danish men marrying soon after the Danish same-sex marriage law was enacted had markedly higher death rates than men in the general Danish population. They speculate that these men were ill, ordinarily with AIDS or AIDS related illnesses, but also from other life-threatening diseases, and wanted to marry to establish rights of survivorship or other benefits for a surviving spouse. However, the mortality for homosexual men marrying after 1996 is virtually the same as for heterosexual men in Denmark. Thus, since HIV/AIDS has been more successfully managed, the mortality rates have declined dramatically.

During the height of the AIDS crisis, life expectancies were understandably depressed. This study indicates that mortality has improved substantially.

New Danish study reviews mortality among married gays — Warren Throckmorton

So, in other words, what they were doing was including people who were already infected with AIDs in the early 90s but got married to establish survivorship benefits. Since AIDS treatments have improved substantially, fewer gay men are dying young and their life expectancy is rising.
