Elvis Presley last ever live stage appearance

26th June 1977, Elvis Presley made his last ever live stage appearance when he appeared at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis. Presley would die less than two months later. The last two songs he performed were ‘Hurt’ and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water.’ Before the show Elvis was presented with a plaque commemorating the 2 billionth record to come out of RCA’s pressing plant. If you ever visit Graceland you can see the last place he ever performed. His piano is in the exact same spot that he played it for friends in his backyard guest house that he converted into a Racquet Ball court. When he was done he told his friends he had to go to the bathroom. And everyone knows what happened next
