http://www.clarionledger.com/news/0312/13/m03.html Convicted murderer Larry Hentz and his wife, Elizabeth, were smart enough to mastermind his escape from prison, drive cross country with stolen license plates and dye their hair, according to the official version of events. What they weren't smart enough to do was use an alias when they checked in a California motel, authorities said Friday. Instead, the wife used her real name. "If you look at a lot of criminals caught, it's usually something obvious they did or didn't do," said Robert Johnson, who owns a security consulting firm in Jackson. "For example, a person may rob a bank and leave behind his driver's license." On Thursday, the San Diego Violent Crimes Task Force apprehended the couple at a Motel 6 in Mission Hills, part of San Diego's metropolitan area.
