The book series was sooooo much better. V.C. Andrews had some serious emotional problems somewhere in her life... all of her series/books are based on incest of one form or another, or a thought of incest. I've read every one of the series she's written... if ya'll like to read her stuff, I'd recommend "Heaven".

I too have every VC Andrews book ever written - Love em all!

I Loved the Casteel Series and The Landry Series as well as the Dollanganger/Foxworth series.

I think it was donuts, but I would like to add that I think my serious fear of needles and giving blood was planted in me when I saw that movie....Shudder
