Islam teaches that allah controls the fate of the world and particularly the fate of the muslim world. What allah wills, so shall it happen. Muslims believe that they will be successful when, and only when, allah wills it.
Why, then, does Israel surpass the arab and muslim entities in every category from education to literacy to income to healthcare to scientific and medical research to productivity to technological and industrial development?
According to the Arab League, fully 1/3 of the 350 million Arab population is illiterate. Half of all Arab women are illiterate!
The combined GDPs [minus oil, a natural resource] of nearly 25 Arab Muslim countries is LESS THAN than of Spain. Total exports [minus oil] of those 25 Arab countries, with a combined population of 350 million, are LESS THAN that of Finland with a population of merely 5 million.
Not one Arab or Muslim country produces anything with global demand. Not one important scientific or medical discovery or technological invention has originated from these countries in 1000 years.
In stark contrast, the Jews have transformed desert into an oasis, Israel is one of the most advanced countries in the world, a global leader in everything from information technology to biotechnology to nanotechnology to medical technology to agricultural technology to chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Teva is the largest generic phamaceutical company in the world, started from a small pharmacy in Jerusalem. Israel, the size of Vermont, has the 40th largest economy in the world and the 30th highest per capita income in the world, twice that of Turkey.
Of 14 million Jews in the world, an impressive 190 Jews have won Nobel Prizes for important contributions in science, economics and literature. Out of 1.5 BILLION muslims, only 3 muslims have won such an award.
Israel has produced 6 Nobel Prize Laureates in science and economics while 25 Arab and 60 muslim countries have produced only 1.
Israel is a full democracy. Not one Arab or muslim country can say the same.
