Currently it is against the law to take the money congress & president allocated to one entity & pay it to another by having treasury instead of congress pick winners & losers.

Currently Treasury has to follow the law & allocate payment of funds according to the laws passed by congress & signed by the president.

Hitting the debt ceiling will absolutely create a default on November 1rst. There will be a default on market debt instruments without a new law passed by congress & signed by the president reallocating funds. Or a law giving the power to choose to the Treasury Secretary & hope he chooses to pay the bills you want him to.

It sounds like Obama is 100 percent responsible for any spending that takes place now, so why not just turn the whole schmear over to him? If that were done over half of these posts would be correct.

I vote yes. He will hit 3-4 trillion dollar deficits and that would be funny as shit. The only way out o this mess is for it to all fall apart, we are mid that collapse, politicians are selling hope, not a fix.
