FOREIGN INVESTMENT PLOY

Jason Dwyer asked: When election time rolls around, I tend to lean towards ideology and political values when choosing which party to vote for. The recent drama about Tony Abbott pledging to slow foreign investment into agricultural land if elected has me a bit confused, as it’s the federal Labor party backing free trade in this instance. Not the Liberal party as I would expect based on traditional values of the two parties. Is this an intentional strategy to target the Katter initiative?
