No...that sucks, I'd cry if I got that much back..you need to plan better.
That's $5000 the gov. has had all year and you get nothing in interest for it.
The perfect target is to get nothing back nor have to pay anymore.

I always aim to pay $100 or less...

I am usually almost right on target. Last year I got some back, I was a little upset.

Yes but you could also look at it like a short term savings plan......that's like found money in a lump sum.

One day Tim went into Della's closet and began pulling unopened box upon unopened box from it. Della told Tim she just couldn't stand to hear the UPS truck and not have him stop to bring her something! Guess anything can become addictive.
