A prior thread title asking if GOP hated America .."
But none of the comments could substantiate quote GOP Hatred!!!

But here are exact quotes from Democrat leaders that wanted to see US troops killed in Iraq so as to cause the USA to lose, so they could have political power!!!

FACTS:
STUDY ABSTRACT
Are insurgents affected by information on US casualty sensitivity?
Using data on attacks and variation in access to international news across
Iraqi provinces, we identify an “emboldenment” effect by comparing the
rate of insurgent attacks in areas with higher and lower access to
information about U.S news after public statements critical of the war.
We find in periods after a spike in war-critical statements, insurgent
attacks increases by 5-10 percent.
The results suggest that insurgent groups respond rationally to expected
probability of US withdrawal.

The study showed when politically motivated statements like these:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid(D) "War is lost",
U.S. Rep. Murtha(D) "Our troops killed innocent civilians in cold blood,”
Senator Kerry(D) "American soldiers going into the homes of Iraqis in the
dead of night, terrorizing kids and children."
Senator Obama(D) .."troops are air-raiding villages and killing civilians,"

I want you to look into the eyes of a mother that lost her child because a terrorists HEARD/READ that the "war is lost" or "soldiers are terrorists".. and said SEE these US leaders agree..
that terrorists are totally justified to blow up kids packed with bombs as this woman's US soldier son hands out candy!

You tell that wife her husband deserved to die because a Democrat wanted power ahead of her husband???

Every single one of your non-sourced quotes has been truncated or outright altered in order to obscure its true meaning. Briefly,

- Reid once said the President (Bush) knew the war was lost. He also said "As long as we follow [President Bush's] path in Iraq, the war is lost." As far as I know, he never said that he believed the war was lost.

- Murtha said "Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood." He was not talking about US troops in general, but about the Haditha killings: Haditha killings - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

- Kerry said "And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis...". He was saying there was no need for this behavior, not explicitly saying that there was such behavior.

- Similarly, Obama said "We've got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops that we are not just air raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous problems there." Again, he was avoiding a declarative statement about killing civilians while criticizing the notion of a strategy centered on air raids.

So, none of the four men said what you suggested they did.

You forgot Little Dick Durbin he is also a hater of the US Millitary!!!!

YOU ARE RIGHT!
Here is Durbin's quote
On June 14, 2005, Senator Durbin, in a speech before the United States Senate:.
If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime–Pol Pot or others–that had no concern for human beings. Sadly, that is not the case.
This was the action of Americans in the treatment of their prisoners.

Again.. what IDIOT would NOT see where enemies of the USA would use words like this from the U.S. Senate FLOOR! Words that inflamed!
Words that ENCOURAGED!

What kind of senseless person could not comprehend how the enemies of our troops would use these words to incite further deaths of US troops!
