I'm no big fan of canucks but that was a big to them. Pretty ironic given the Repubs basically been falling over themselves to serve as Canada's chamber of commerce for that carbon stockpile they want to ignite ..... err..... sell abroad.

"Renounce" is not "denounce". It's not an

to renounce half of a dual citizenship --- although there's no reason to do so unless one of them makes something exclusive to the point where you have to. Otherwise it's a great advantage. Why, you could denounce socialist health care this week, then go to your other country and get some next week. But as far as Canada, it's more like closing a bank account you no longer need -- doesn't imply a disparagement of the bank.

Perhaps Ted doesn't understand the Constitution enough to know he didn't have to do cut one country out.

Hey, if I had dual citizenship I'd be living closer to the border than Texas so I could take advantage of it.
