Denialacrats

There's a lot of people to blame, not only Obama..

In my opinion, We'll have to wait and see how his Second year ends, If Unemployment doesn't go down and Government Spending gets a Momentary Freeze (At Least) Then I don't know who what to do..

And the Reason I say Momentary Freeze is because I know nobody In the Last 11 Years will ever try and Stop the Deficit from Souring.

It may come to that with the exception of emergency funding, such as another attack of the magnitude of 911, but it would mean ALL entitlement programs AND defense spending. We can survive the former, and have enough weapons to cover us for the latter. (But then again, I can see Congress squabbling over what constitutes an "emergency.")

You seem to have a bee in your bonnet..

Yes the list is far..far and one more far from complete.. perhaps when you're in part 4 (realization phase) of the, "Obama Denial & Dissolution Program" you could complete the list..

To be honest .. I can't believe Obama and the Democratic elites could screw things up in so badly in only 16 months either.... but there you are...

To be fair... Democrats did take over Congress 2 years and 16 months ago, that is, after all, when the trouble began..

Don't do that. Say 3 years and 4 months ago. Geez.

Yes Dear... just trying to discombobulate them .. wont happen until next time..:(

Your math still doesn't work.

Snippets that mean squat. But hey, we DO understand that it's that kind of "information" that forms the basis for the entire package of right wing talking points. So sad, really.

Just my opinion.. this always gets me in trouble...

Things that aren't good but still amazingly denied... by the you know who's

1) 9.9 unemployment

2) Bursting national debt

3) Obama.. just screwing you out of money.. Health Care

4) Bigger government control over the people and corporations

What's your favorite Denial..

How about all the denial of the economic indicators heading the right way.

Your denial will lose the right the 2012 election

Don't forget that "cutting taxes doesn't produce more tax revenue."

it produces more revenue for those who get to keep more of their own money does it not?

Sure, if you're the CEO of a big corporation who has no intention of doing anything with the windfall except stuffing it in his pockets.

CEO-to-worker pay imbalance grows
Since then, however, CEO pay has exploded and by 2005 the average CEO was paid $10,982,000 a year, or 262 times that of an average worker ($41,861).

Yet here we are.. Where's this stimulus that was suppose to work?

Just another Tax Payer Package to do what?

It's the Bailout all over again.

The stimulus never promised instant gratification, an unrealistic wish by any measurement. You can track the stimulus projects daily, here, including projects state by state:

That's true, thanks for the Website.

But first things first. Didn't Obama say if we didn't pass the Stimulus back then Unemployment would still go up? On that note, didn't he also add that If passed the Unemployment Rate would Go below 8-9%? Can't think of the Exact Number..

Because his little list of generalizations mean squat. All of that (with the exception of health care, for which no one has yet been "screwed"), could possibly have happened within a mere 16 months. Even a five-year old could figure that out. Let's see how many 40-somethings going on five jump in to agree with Lumps.

I'm sorry Maggie, I know that was mean, but it was just the perfect setup. I couldn't resist. I'm a victim of my sense of humor.

... we have a similar problem it seems.. Democrats.. even in their glorious time of almost complete control lack humor and are lets say... edgy at best..

So if you pay less in taxes, your revenue is not increased? I paid tens of thousands in taxes last year. If I got to keep some of that money, my revenue would go up. I would then have more to save and invest thereby allowing another to use that money start a business, build a house or whatever.

All of which increases revenue for others. Funny how that works.

Yup, it was optimistic. However, since no one can accurately predict that number, it's infuriating when some of the people (not you) claim that he "lied." Frankly, the most disturbing part about unemployment in THIS recession (it's been higher before) is that a good many of those jobs won't be coming back, and thousands of people will need to be retrained to apply their skills to new, innovative industries that will not be outsourced as soon as some other country figures out how to do it cheaper. Like energy alternatives, but we're already lagging way behind because drill baby drill is still the mantra. The future for America's productivity does not look good, and there's only so much "servicing" that can support employment in non-productive industries.

Um, yes, that is how it should work. So what happened? Bush dramatically cut taxes so that investments could be made HERE, in our own businesses like yours. (I'm assuming your payment of "tens of thousands" in taxes means you have a business.) It didn't happen.
