Dems attack own for refusing to blame Assad for chemical attack

Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii has drawn sharp criticism from fellow Democrats for refusing to blame the Syrian government for a chemical weapons attack used to justify President Trump’s cruise missile strike on a Syrian airbase.

Gabbard indicated she was “skeptical” the Syrian government was responsible for the chemical weapons attack on the town of Khan Sheikhoun during an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.
