They want them killed so they can try to blame it on Israel to get public opinion on their side, and apparently they have a lot to protect there like their weapons and bases of operation along with continued fighting against the IDF. How would they know a building is empty? And what makes you think they are targeting civilian living quarters? They are targeting known Hamas locations and anywhere that bombs and rockets come from at them, I would think.
One thing I've heard on good authority is that among everything else Hamas has lied about is the food and water situation. It isn't as bad as they've claimed.

If you look at the current state of Gaza it's a bombed-out shell of a city. Probably 95% of the buildings are destroyed. They created a humanitarian disaster with 2.2m homeless people living on the streets with no food, no water, no electricity, no fuel.
I don't know how many civilian deaths they created, but the IDF is losing the war on public opinion.
I don't have a dog in that fight, but the worldwide protests over Gaza are not helping Israel's cause.

What do people here say all the time about the J6ers or general criminals who get slapped down heavy? "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!" Right?! Well, the Gazans should have thought of the consequences of their actions before lobbing 2,000 missiles into Israel at civilian targets then infiltrating the country and torturing and brutally murdering over 1,400 innocent women and children.

Also, to stay with the topic, Trump made sure the Iranian Terror Regime remained impoverished and thus had no money to find Hamas and Hezbellah attacks.

A lot of people, including children and babies, went through a lot of torture before being killed who would be alive today if the swing states didn’t halt the count while they went in pursuit of the Plan B ballots.
