...that's why they're freaking out over the AZ immigration law. If everyone is documented then they lose a big portion of their voter base.

And the Republican tricks in Florida and Ohio were so honorable.

Why would an undocumented person register to vote in the first place and risk a phone call to ICE? Duh...

How does someone who isn't documented with the U.S. obtain the ability to register with the U.S. to vote?

He can register, but if the registration is invalid because he is an undocumented citizen, then he will not be allowed to vote. And I'm sure you're familiar with all the hoopla over Acorn REGISTERING people to vote, but whose REGISTRATIONS were ultimately tossed out for that reason, among others.

    It's a no-brainer.

The reason a lot of people Left, Right or inbetween are against this bill is because it encourages racial profiling and we don't trust local Arizona cops to make good decisions.

and republicans can't win unless they demonize democrats...

    "democrats HATE America"
    "democrats HATE god"
"democrats want to take away ALL of your rights"
"democrats want to destroy our institutions"
"democrats want the terrorists to win"
"democrats want to force our children to become gay"

    all of which are lies....

so I guess republicans can't win without lying, either

It's been this way for quite some time. Sometimes it works for good. John Kennedy wouldn't have been elected without the Chicago voting machine...he was a great President...saw the value in lowering taxes.

    Obama, on the other hand...

That why both parties don't want to send them back.
Let them in illegally then pass amnesty laws every 10 yrs or so. Brand new voters, for both parties. Works better for dems though because thru the dems they get lots of free goodies.
Health, food. welfare and on and on... get the point?

Well yea, but they wouldn't actually make it to the ballot box. It shouldn't matter if an illegal registers or not as long as they're not granted the ability to vote.
