Democrats take up so much of our time in America. What to do with these people.......

There's stupidity, and then there's the Democrats
By J.R. Dunn
There's a first-rate adage from the notorious French avant-gardist Jean Cocteau that I translate as "stupidity is always astonishing, no matter how many times you deal with it."

Cocteau, being French, had plenty of opportunities to test that thesis. As for us, we've got the Democrats.

Since the days of the Clintons, Democratic crimes never seem to come as single spies, or even in battalions, but rather something like divisions or army corps. That certainly seems to be the case with Joe Biden, as several stories that have bubbled up over the past few days attest:

  • Hunter Biden was caught trying to run interference in Congress for corrupt Romanian land baron Gabriel Popoviciu without bothering to register as a foreign agent. Popoviciu later went to prison over a corrupt land deal. (This story first appeared last May but is only now gaining traction thanks to Rudy Giuliani's interest.)
  • It turns out that Papa Joe himself was paid $900,000 for lobbying on behalf of Burisma, the exact same outfit that Hunter was entangled with. (This was revealed by Ukrainian Rada member Andriy Derkach. I suppose Trump called him too.)
  • It has also developed that the 2020 candidate whom the whistleblower had a relationship with was none other than Joe himself. The whistleblower not only briefed Biden about Ukraine, but also accompanied him there on Air Force Two, which suggests more than a casual relationship.
Clearly, we've only scratched the surface as far as this little affair goes. Hunter had his finger in many pies, it seems, while Dad is entangled up to his neck with the same crew of corrupt reprobates as Junior. As for the "whistleblower," the only appropriate response to this would be "wild surmise." Yes, the Democrats are trying to take down Donald Trump; yes, they're trying to set themselves up for 2020; but also, on some level, it's apparent that the Ukraine scam is being carried out to provide cover for Joe Biden, of the "most scandal-free administration in history."

You come across this kind of thing, and you ask yourself: is it now? Is it now that they stop digging? Is it now that they start clawing their way out of the hole? Is it now that they head for the trees, knowing that the tsunami is coming? Is it now that they start tossing Old Joe, Little Orphan Adam, and Nancy off the sleigh in a desperate effort to save themselves?

But the answer is no, it's not now. It is never now — which leads to the next obvious question: can they possibly be that stupid?

The Ukraine scandal would strike awe into a mind even as circuitous as Cocteau's. He may have had to deal with the bourgeois, Vichy, the Occupation, and Sartre, but he never had to deal with anything like this.

The one good thing is, if they're that stupid, I can't see how DJT can lose.

Guns and Cannabis: The Insidious Creep of Tyranny
By John Klar
In 2004, Vermont implemented a medical marijuana registry, promising patient confidentiality on its state website. Then, in 2018, Vermont legalized recreational marijuana use and imposed a universal background check on gun-purchasers.

Here's the rub: the federal government was not consulted, and the ATF maintains that anyone using marijuana will be denied clearance to purchase any gun. This was already the case prior to Vermont's recreational cannabis legalization — those who were on the state's marijuana registry were not allowed to buy guns from federally licensed dealers, as the state of Vermont provided the list of registrants surreptitiously to the federal government. Yet those on the cannabis registry could still purchase guns from neighbors — that is, until the vaulted "universal background check" closed that "loophole" for sick people to defend themselves. All without public discussion, or even awareness.

This is how government steals liberties. The Second Amendment was specifically crafted to ensure that government would never intrude itself between the right to defend one's home and country and the Creator of the universe, who alone can bestow or withdraw "inalienable rights." There was no discussion in the Vermont Legislature of the elimination of this right for pain-suffering Vermonters whose government promised them confidentiality. There will be no discussion when that unilateral power is employed to eliminate those with depression, PTSD, or various other attributes from the list of those eligible (that is, who "hold the right" granted by government) to purchase a weapon. This is the creeping hand of government tyranny, happening already in many states. (Sadly, such policies will discourage veterans and others from seeking treatment.)

Are all Dems above the law?
By J. F. Gaski
In the present Ukraine matter, the mainstream media propaganda machine is missing something basic. The error is exposed by the uniform and diversionary way the Trump-Ukraine accusation is framed: President Trump, they say, asked the Ukrainian government to investigate Democrat politician Joe Biden for the purpose of getting "dirt" on the rival candidate. Because of this apparent internationalization of political intrigue, the conduct by Trump qualifies as a possibly criminal and impeachable offense — that is, obtaining foreign campaign assistance of value. So goes the simplistic narrative.

Time out. The underlying error in the popular view is the familiar illogic of presumption of motives. Trump's critics forcibly impose only one motive on the notorious telephone discussion between Trump and the Ukrainian president — i.e., help in domestic politics. Rightfully, the case should be closed already against the critics because such presumption is inadmissible in serious discourse. The explanation is that to assume one of an infinite number of potential motives is face-invalid and unreasonable. All one must do to falsify such a pseudo-argument is identify a single plausible alternative motivation, and a big one is readily at hand: as the chief law enforcement officer of the United States, Donald Trump has a constitutional obligation to investigate illegal behavior, especially when committed at the highest level of our government. Hence, a more than plausible alternative to the subjective and partisan attack device is conspicuously present, truly an elephant in the room — that somehow remains inscrutable to the chattering class. Lawful obligation trumps unwarranted and inadmissible assumption, as it were.

And what evidence of illegality is there to justify the constitutional basis for Trump's request that Ukraine investigate Joe Biden? Merely objective evidence, both direct and circumstantial, that Biden has been running an international influence-peddling (China) and extortion (Ukraine) operation. Biden boasted of sacking the Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating his son's company, but with the alternative and exculpatory rival motive of legitimate Western concern about government corruption in Ukraine already being refuted publicly by Ukrainians themselves in this case. Then there is the $1.5-billion Chinese payment to the unqualified Hunter Biden's rookie equity fund, ostensibly buying access to the office of U.S. vice president just as the elder Biden was assuming the China portfolio for the Obama administration. Thank you, President Trump, for finally trying to advance the ball against high-level government corruption that typically goes unreported, uninvestigated, unprosecuted, and unpunished — when perpetrated by Democrats.

But the logical extension of the Democrat position on Trump/Ukraine "collusion" becomes even more bizarre. If constitutional investigation or even phone interchange incorporating pursuit of foreign evidence by an American president is disallowed if it happens to implicate an opposition politician, then all opposition pols are therefore inviolable and above the law — because they are interpretable as victims of presidential campaign misconduct via involving a foreign entity in domestic politics, as creatively construed.

In other words, no matter what crime a partisan opponent has committed or is suspected of, the justice arm of government dares not investigate because, once it does, it is guilty of the illegal campaign behavior of targeting an opponent. This is Catch-22 territory, thus an absurdity that, in turn, renders the Democratic complaint preposterous. QED.

The Dems and they're media army can only carry this hoax so far, and when the Constitutionalists in the party begin to see the truth, you'll see a growing number of independent Trump supporters coming along. Fear not. By 2020 it could be a landslide for Trump ( barring a bad recession or an ugly war.)

Dems have NO HONOR.............NO INTEGRETY..........They are LIARS............

And the more this goes on ..the more people with common sense will see it clear as day...................

They are losing their members.............and they will lose in 2020

I don't believe most of America pays attention.
If they were...Obama never would have been elected.
