The Democrats gained six Senate seats by defeating Republican Senators in the states of
Missouri,Montana,Ohio,Pennsylvania,Rhode Island and Virginia. The Democrats secured a 51–49 majority in the Senate (Senator Joe Lieberman offConnecticut and Senator Bernie
Sanders
of Vermont are Independents who would vote with Democrats on caucus issues). The Democrats gained thirty House seats from the Republicans. For the first time since themidterm elections of 1994, the Democratic Party gained control of both houses of theUnited States Congress.

The Democratic Party also claimed a majority of state governorships in the 2006 elections, gaining control of Republican-held governorships in New York, Massachusetts, Colorado, Arkansas, Maryland and Ohio, to give the party a 28–22 advantage in governorships.

What was George Bush's reaction?

He first publicly admitted that he took a 'thumpin'.
Then he fired his Def Sec and Treasury Sec, sent Condeleeza Rice to the State Department, got a new Chief of Staff, promoted Steve Hadley, and changed his Iraq policy.

Obama just had the same experience. My question is, What has he done?

Believes he has a 2/3rds or 66% approval rating based on registered voters who didn't vote like the delusional, narcissistic, amateur he is!

Not a single Obama lover will answer my question.
