The creepy part is that the UCLA arts graduate serial killer was a contestant on the popular TV show "The Dating Game".

My hometown of Kansas City, Missouri had Bob Berdella -- a serial killer who was Gacy/Dahmer-like, only on a somewhat smaller scale. He ran a small business called "Bob's Bizarre Bazaar", and it was like a curio/headshop kind of place.
