Cooking Steaks

If anything, you should let your steak rest for about 5-10 minutes after cooking it, in order for the meat to better retain its juiciness. I'm pretty sure the author is wrong about myth #2; on Iron Chef America and in the Men's Health Big Book of Food & Nutrition, both sources show and explain how searing your meat can seal in the juices. As for #5, what the hey? It's great to season your meat while grilling it: slather some marinade on it or rub in some spices.

That article is picking shit off flies for the most part.

The sear accomplishes a good char which I like.

Multiple flipping? What's the fucking hurry?

Season it whenever the hell you want. But season lightly, grasshopper.
