Congress Secretly Passes Bill Giving Police Unlimited Access To Citizens Private Communications

Maybe they printed a story on it.....in secret?
Maybe they approve of anything Democrats do, no matter how intrusive or unconstitutional, and so they don't raise a fuss or tell anybody about it?

Here's the amendment added by the Senate. Does it do what the OP described?

Seems to be really wide-open. It says that the govt can keep whatever info they find, even without a warrant, as long as some official says it's OK to keep.

This sounds like a characteristic of "Government of men, not of laws".

It's also a direct violation of the 4th amendment.
