Yeah, you're probably right. I'm sure there will never be any backlash out of frustration at a double standard of justice. Until there is. But hey, it's nice to see the honesty of a man who is totally comfortable with the government crushing the rights of political opponents. Reminds me of a line from a Stephen King novel - "It stops being funny when it starts being YOU"Been hearing this for years. Then what we get is people crying in court begging for leniency.

As for your J6 reference, enjoy that circus. Cheer for justice against those bad "insurrectionists". Just remember that everything in life is a lesson. Now that Americans understand how corrupt our legal system has become, there will never be another gathering of conservatives in DC for a real protest. Your Schutzstaffel will never be given another opportunity like that. If the Left wants to use the DOJ to crush political opposition, they're going to have to do it the old-fashioned way and risk being exposed as the hypocrites they are.
Do you think anyone would get charged with a hate crime if they took my US flag and burned it because they hated the US?only if you steal someone else's flag in the process.
Yeah. The wannabe "revolutionaries" are exercising the rights they have while safely ensconced in a country that protects them from very political ideology they claim to espouse.
They're really like a bunch swaggering teenagers, full of themselves for guzzling down a six pack. When their attention seeking fails, they'll wander off to an evil capitalist Starbucks and congratulate themselves for getting a news soundbite.
Your reasoning is faulty. Defacing a memorial is cherry-picking and not the same thing as blatantly displaying a memorial that violates the principle of the separation of church and state: Bladensburg Cross. If your burn your own flag, be in BLM or the American flag you are good to go and not breaking any laws.
If you take a flag from someone that does not belong to you and burn it, then you are in trouble.
Same holds for public memorials, those are not yours so you cannot deface them legally.
Do you think anyone would get charged with a hate crime if they took my US flag and burned it because they hated the US?
Chicago? They should try that in a small town.If the US was never great, how are these communists allowed to protest in public without being dragged off to a gulag? It's what would happen if anti-communists did it in Beijing, Moscow, or Havana.
The communist group's manifesto has praised Mao Zedong's Cultural Revolution
A group of communist revolutionaries burned multiple American flags outside a Jason Aldean concert in Chicago on Saturday night, according to videos of the incident.
The protesters were raising awareness of RevCom (Revolutionary Communist Party), which believes in creating a Marxist revolution in America, calling the USA "the belly of the beast." The RevCom activists burned American flags before police "declared an unlawful assembly and said their activism ‘alarmed and disturbed others,'" according to News2Share, who captured the videos.
Now the reply. Note the swaggering parallel as found in the Jesuit-trained Elf, as related by an Aussie:Yeah. The wannabe "revolutionaries" are exercising the rights they have while safely ensconced in a country that protects them from very political ideology they claim to espouse.

Fair enough. That's as stupid as all the other "hate crime" charges.
He hated me for carrying the flag. Not a hate crime as the hate has to be directed at the victim.

He hated me for carrying the flag.
Can we all just admit that "hate crime" laws are stupid?

Using tax dollars to pay chaplains violates the principle of the separation of church and state
Starting a session of congress with a prayer violates the principle of the separation of church and state.
Not so as long as it's not directed only to one belief. As long as all are treated the same, it's good.

They are good by the 1st Amendment, but not by the principle of the separation of church and state.
