It was quite a good movie. We got to see Clint on horseback once again. Cry Macho was made from a best selling book.

old shows are very popular in the household. We watch METV and COZI. all the old shows. I spent so many years in school and working long hours I haven't seen most of those shows.

Rob Lowe--on his podcast "Literally"--was talking about Eastwood. I didn't fact-check it so don't blame me but Lowe said Eastwood had directed 33 movies. Most actors haven't done 33 movies. He's starred in, easily, just as many if not more. I don't know if the Kennedy Center has honored him yet but if they haven't...they better get steppin'.

Clint Eastwood's direction pedigree is amazing.
Some of the best movies out there - he did.

Now. Having said that... Cry Macho was... how do I say it?... holy cow bad.
It stank on every level.
The Mule... it was a good movie, but if you can be honest, Clint's performance was a bit shaky. He is well known to fiercely avoid retakes, and doesn't like to rehearse a lot either. When he was younger he could pull that off. Now he can't. He just can't.

I would hate to imagine the world of cinema without his movies, both acting in and directing.
But I do wish he would hang it up.
Hopefully, I am wrong.
