Why do you think there are 2 MILLION people in Hong Kong protesting China's extradition law? They know that when that law goes into effect, people will start vanishing never to be seen from again, just like they do in China. There is nothing they won't do to extend their power. The Red Chinese are corporate American's Best Friends Forever, and everyone with a 401K benefits form these vermin's labor racketeering. Wall Street is never going to support doing anything about hindering the scum, since they're all on the same page when it comes to abusing the peasants. They have to be more careful here and move slower, since there are a lot of guns in the hands of 'Deplorables' here., but they hope to bring Red China's govt. to the U.S., and they have fans on both the left and the right wings, and most certainly on most corporate boards and government agencies.
