However, few will deny that many Leftist / Progressive / Democrats even at this forum would say it's a cause for celebration. Many here say that religion IS the number one plague upon humanity.
In fact, most rabid Leftists are guaranteed to respond to this thread with some remark such as "The Epoch Times is fake News", rather than admitting China has a dismal record with regards to human rights.
This is a big deal. Here's why......
The big deal is that the number of dis-compassionate, uncaring people who would rather see human rights totally trampled, than to allow people to follow their faith is growing exponentially. The number of ignorant people who believe modern Christianity is more deadly than Communism is a portrait of a society, or even a future world, that paints a grim picture of dark times and wide spread suffering to come.
Americans have ignored the warning signs and have allowed the intolerant to become their entertainment, their educators and their leaders. It can't possibly end well.
