And here we have a growing problem in Britain, as family structure breaks down and children are raised without fathers, in homes with single mothers......crime and gangs take hold...and guns follow...

Diana Fawcett, the charity's chief executive, told Sky News: "At a time when the number of homicides has been falling, deaths related to gun crime are showing significant increases which is incredibly concerning.More than 600 children in the UK were arrested for suspected firearm offences last year amid the coronavirus pandemic, new figures reveal.

A Sky News investigation has found children as young as 11 were among more than 2,000 youths detained for alleged crimes involving guns, imitation firearms and air weapons between 2018 and January 2021.
-----
Simeon Moore, who carried a gun aged 15 when he was a member of a notorious Birmingham gang, said young people arming themselves often believe they are doing "the right thing".
---
"From knives, we started to carry guns. For me, at the time it was a means of protection.
"I was walking around and at any point I could get beat up, stabbed or have my head blown off.

Sky news, enough said. Although it's interesting that even Sky's analysis shows a downward trend in most Police areas. That's good news, thanks.
Yes thats very reassuring. Guns are so dangerous, you only have to look at America to see what happens when too many people get hold of them.

Yes...a decrease in gun murder, gun crime and violent crime rates...

Over the last 27 years, we went from 200 million guns in private hands in the 1990s and 4.7 million people carrying guns for self defense in 1997...to close to 400-600 million guns in private hands and over 19.4 million people carrying guns for self defense in 2019...guess what happened...

Gun Homicide Rate Down 49% Since 1993 Peak; Public Unaware

Compared with 1993, the peak of U.S. gun homicides, the firearm homicide rate was 49% lower in 2010, and there were fewer deaths, even though the nation’s population grew. The victimization rate for other violent crimes with a firearm—assaults, robberies and sex crimes—was 75% lower in 2011 than in 1993. Violent non-fatal crime victimization overall (with or without a firearm) also is down markedly (72%) over two decades.

Yes we can see that extensive ownership of guns makes the US safer than any other first world nation. Thats why every country is pushing for similar laws.

Yes.....sad when children are killed in criminal violence or accidents.......at the same time, guns are used by Americans 1.1 million times to save lives....from rape, robbery and murder......

Far more lives are saved by law abiding gun owners than are lost when criminals use guns for crime, or when tragic accidents happen.

If you were really worried about children, you would want to ban cars......cars kill far more children than guns do...

72 million Children in the U.S.....

600 million guns in private hands.

Over 19.4 million Americans can legally carry guns for self defense.

Americans use those legal guns 1.1 million times a year to stop rapes, robberies and murders....

Accidental deaths of children with guns?

With the following stats, cars, and pools need to be banned....

Fatal Injury and Violence Data | WISQARS | Injury Center | CDC

2019....

Cars...1,282 (0-14)

Guns...51

Drowning 654.

2018......

Guns......54

Motor vehicle..... 2,456

Total Cars: 1,261

Suffocation: 1,162

Drowning: 698

Poisoning: 66

Traffic: 2,456

Guns: 54

Yes...it does.....when your countries banned and confiscated guns in the 1930s, your governments gave up your citizens to the German socialists......who murdered 12 million innocent men, women and children.......

12 million humans murdered by your governments across the pond......far more innocents murdered by their governments than all of our innocent victims of gun crime over here over the last 82 years.

Unarmed citizens are murdered by their governments a lot more than by American criminals with guns.......
