Chemical weapons teams arrive to destroy Syria stockpiles - Middle East News | Latest News Headlines | The Irish Times - Wed, Oct 02, 2013

Twenty chemical weapons experts arrived in Damascus yesterday on a mission to identify and destroy Syria’s stockpiles of weapons and chemical agents by mid-2014.
The experts from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons are mandated to ensure that by the end of the month Syria can no longer make chemical arms by destroying equipment, empty shells and delivery vehicles.

Excellent progress and a victory for America.

Of course we can all rest assured these "teams" will be more effective than the UN bed wetters who didn't do shit in Iraq but get used as pawns in an international game of bullshit chess while some globalist pigs made money hand over fist.

History NEVER repeats itself especially when idiot leftists are involved.

Poor Obama. Not being able to bomb the shit out of Assad's military so he can hand over another country in the ME to radical Islamists.

Poor poor Mr. President. He must be triple sad because he couldn't even get a resolution passed at the UN that would allow him to bomb Syria without having to go back to the UN.

A victory for the world, and when their done there, they can go to Israel, India, Pakistan, Russia, the US and all countries that have nukes and destroy them as we'll.

Well it's a good thing that Democrats had nothing to do with this....oh wait, Obama and Kerry are Democrats. Carry on.

They had nothing to do with this. This is owned by Russia. The US position (and Obama's) for at least two decades has been regime change in Syria. The Russians (and Chinese) have frustrated that goal, if for the time being.

It sounds like a good compromise, something unheard of in diplomacy of this size, and U.S. politicians don't know that word. :eusa_shifty:
