The same kind of trash have been interfering in American businesses in Ontario for decades, now caught stealing from their own. There are probably another 100 of such charges that should be laid that aren't.

Sadly, we only have the lowly unaccountable RCMP to investigate. If you open up a business in Canada and grow to become too large, you can be sure there will be management within that company that works for the state. Canada has been promoting "free trade" and pretending to fight protectionism, indeed, Canada engages in the worst brand of protectionism and artificial "tariffs", has been doing so for decades.

Charges laid against OPP union brass

TORONTO - Three former senior executives of the Ontario Provincial Police Association (OPPA) and two of their business associates have been charged with fraud by the RCMP.

The charges announced Thursday follow a 19-month investigation that went public when the Mounties raided the OPPA offices in Barrie in March 2015.

Jim Christie, 48, Martin Bain, 50, Karl Walsh, 52, Andrew McKay, 54, all Ontario residents, and Francis Chantiam, 60, of New Jersey, are charged with fraud over $5,000 and laundering the proceeds of crime.
