CBO: We don't know how much it will cost

Dayam I thought this was supposed to make things better. I am sure the usual suspects will be in soon to tell us how grateful we should be though.

Congressional budget scorekeepers said they can no longer measure the fiscal impact of many provisions of ObamaCare because the task is impossible.

In a little-noticed footnote from April, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said it will continue to assess the effects of the law's exchange subsidies and the Medicaid expansion, while not tracking others.
"The provisions that expand insurance coverage established entirely new programs or components of programs that can be isolated and reassessed," the office wrote.

"In contrast, other provisions of the Affordable Care Act significantly modified existing federal programs and made changes to the Internal Revenue Code.

"Isolating the incremental effects of those provisions on previously existing programs and revenues four years after enactment of the Affordable Care Act is not possible."

The note came in the CBO's analysis of ObamaCare's insurance coverage provisions in April and was first reported Wednesday by Roll Call.

This will not change the Libs view...
We now have plenty of money since Obama fixed the economy....
And of course there's always plenty of rich people out there that don't deserve
to have that much wealth.

Almost all of it is known, except the revisions of deficit reduction due to the ACA has been more positive, and more people are insured than expected. Oh, and health care inflation is lower than expected, too.

Of course the CBO can't score ObamaCare. Obama keeps changing it by executive FIAT and refuses to enforce portions of the law. Without a commitment to enforcing the LAW AS WRITTEN, there is no reliable set of parameters for which the CBO can come up with reasonable estimates.

I am sure you have links to all whose lies.

Not.

Did you think of the fact that it might cost less? Huh, huh?

It would also cost taxpayers less to have everyone who gets imprisoned for a crime
pay back the public for the cost of prosecution and incarceration.
So they could be working instead of depending on taxpayers for prison
and/or welfare afterwards when they can't get jobs!

So since that would cost less
why aren't any politicians going after those costs of crime in order to pay for health care?

kiwiman if crooks or fraudulent abusers ran up costs on the Company credit card,
would you like to get charged for those costs just because you have money to pay it?

wouldn't the sensible solution to go after THOSE WHO COMMIT CRIME OR FRAUD
and compel them to pay their costs.

What sense does it make to ROB lawabiding citizens of their liberty, and tax people who work hard for their money, just because it's "more convenient for the government."

Why not compel the government to go after crooks and corrupt abusers,
collect back those costs, taxes or credits, and not keep charging taxpayers more and more.

Why should we lose our liberty and money because of other people's ineptitude or corruption?

I'm ALL FOR doing what is most cost-effective.
So why not go for solutions that don't cost anyone our liberty
but hold the wrongdoers responsible for their own costs, not imposing this
on law abiding citizens who are "easier to police and regulate."

How long can THAT go on?

Neither did I! :eusa_shifty:[/QUOTE]

The cost will be far lower than the far right whines about, and the health care will be better across the board, and the far right can choke.

Wow there is so much...sigh nevermind.

It will reduce cost per family $2500 a year.

Medicare inflation is shrinking solidly, and the other medical costs seem to be flattening as well.
