6.Environmentalism is used to justify de facto racial segregation in California’s housing. Environmental lawsuits are a major reason for longer delays and higher costs of new housing. “The core legal structure of CEQA,” notes housing attorney Jennifer Hernandez, “protects the existing characteristics of those neighborhoods and thus perpetuates land use practices founded in race and class discrimination.”


7. Consider:

· In the name of helping the poor and protecting the environment, California has placed myriad restrictions and fees on building new housing units, driving up their price;

· Progressive local governments like San Francisco and Santa Monica block even those housing projects that comply with zoning laws progressives had agreed to;

8. Progressive leaders who daily denounce Republicans as racist have blithely presided over a significant decline in the academic performance of black and Latino eighth graders relative to their counterparts in other states. Today, less than 40 percent of non-white and non-Asian students meet state educational standards… When the cost of living is taken into account, California spends less on K-12 education than all but four other states.

9. A decade-long reform effort in Washington, D.C. showed that student performance can be improved significantly by rewarding teachers for performance and replacing underperforming teachers.

Homelessness is condition which impacts most urban areas in the US. Simple Simons (like you) post, "ain't if awful" as if that is some sort of a solution to an on going problem.

If's not.

Why do you think (LOL) ... why do you believe so many homeless exist in the US, and in CA? Clearly, for those who do think, there is no simple answer to that question. Until the problem is well defined, solutions are hard to come by.

Since you claim to know everything, how about offering some reasons for homelessness, and why some cities have more than others. Then come up with iron clad solutions, and by that I don't mean jails.

Odd that the photos you've posted include a police car from a city in the state of Washington, football teams from Illinois and a sign from Minn. Your post is dishonest and misrepresents the Tri Valley in the Bay Area - typical of a 21st century conservative and like trump, incapable of being truthful.


The reader may want to look at the cost of housing in those cities I noted above in my link, in my town no home has sold for less than seven figures in at least five years. There are no tent cities in anyone of the cities noted above; Thinker101 should never be trusted by anyone, and everything he posts should be verified.

I not sure which character flaw dominates your personality. Hate seems to be the one common denominator, but dishonesty is a very close second. Narcissism is obvious, but not necessarily a flaw, more of a defense mechanism, which moves the "close second", i.e. dishonesty, even closer to the #1 character flaw - since you even lie to yourself.

Homelessness is condition which impacts most urban areas in the US. Simple Simons (like you) post, "ain't if awful" as if that is some sort of a solution to an on going problem.

Why do you think (LOL) ... why do you believe so many homeless exist in the US, and in CA? Clearly, for those who do think, there is no simple answer to that question. Until the problem is well defined, solutions are hard to come by.

Since you claim to know everything, how about offering some reasons for homelessness, and why some cities have more than others. Then come up with iron clad solutions, and by that I don't mean jails.

I look forward to a pragmatic, intelligent, compassionate response.
