Police have 'open mind' if gun attacks linked
Detectives investigating two gun attacks are keeping an "open mind" if they were linked.
On Saturday at about 12.29am, officers were called to Smeaton Street in Kirkdale to reports of shots being fired at a home.
Minutes later at 12.32am another report came in about a home on nearby Wilburn Street in Walton also being shot at.
The gun blasts caused damage to the houses but there were no reported injuries.
