LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Some people have had it with TV. They've had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don't like timing their lives around network show schedules. They're tired of $100-plus monthly bills.

Damn straight. I realized a while back that anything I actually wanted from TV could be found on the internet, except for live sports, which like TheOldSchool, I get from an MLB subscription (and which I would have needed to watch it on TV anyway). So what's left? A psychological propaganda tool designed to force the user to sit down, shut up and ingest an endless stream of pap that has no higher purpose than to sell soap.
