Nah, it's about not harassing people. Some street preachers get arrested, and others do not. And it pretty much comes down to whether or not they are getting in people's faces.

There is no evidence whatsoever the man was harassing anyone....if you read the other reports on this incident you will discover that the two policemen were sent to the scen because someone(probably a muslim) called up the police and claimed the preacher was being Islamaphobic.

You can think whatever you want...but there is no evidence of that and the police did not accuse him of that anyhow. The police were sent there on an anoymous complaint that the man was being 'islamaphobic'....no evidence of that and after they got him to the station they release him because they realized he had made a mistake. It was a wrongful arrest based on heresay.....that is illegal.

They got into his face....he did not get into theirs.

Preaching is not illegal. Proven by the fact the man was released after being taken to the police station. If the policeman did not want to be preached to he should have just walked away. No one had put some kind of restraint on him to force him to listen.
