I have been listening to many Brits warn their nation especially since many presume WWIII is going to occur in our lifetime.

Apparently the entire size of their army is 75,000 (or one of their branches anyways, maybe their navy) and will be down to 52k or so by 2030.

Basically the Brits have been wrong about so much for so long and they haven't been able to maintain a strong, patriotic nation willing to sacrifice. Trump was right and he forced NATO to ante up. All nations should be able to spend 2% a year on their military.

What you leave out is what they spend the 2% on. Are you talking weapons or salaries? The point should revolve around mutual defense capabilities, and not just spending.

You can't really equate "moderate" Republican RINOs like GW and Colin Powell to the modern-day Republicans led by Donald J. Trump. They are two different animals all together.

While the former RINO Republicans stood for what you might call "bipartisanship" and "reaching across the aisle", what they were actually engaged in was kowtowing to powerful liberal Democrat interests in the same manner British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain appeased Nazi Germany.

This is no longer your grandfather's Republican Party. This is the party of America first, not "America last" as the Democrats believe. The Republican Party is the party of America, the party of prosperity, freedom, individuality, and the party of Donald J. Trump.
