Gun crime is up 4% in Britain.....how is that possible? They confiscated guns, and yet they have shootings..a lot of them.

Police in Birmingham believe an 18-year-old murder victim was shot while sitting in a car and managed to stagger almost 100 metres before collapsing.

A man was arrested on Friday on suspicion of the murder of Kenichi Phillips in in the Ladywood area of the city. The teenager was the fourth person to be shot dead in Birmingham since the autumn.

Police were called to St Mark’s Crescent at about 6.45pm on Thursday. They found the Phillips with a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene. He is understood to have previously lived in Birmingham, but then have moved away.


So...whoever murdered this guy...what stopped him from going to a mall, a school or a concert and killing a bunch of people?

Did British gun control stop him? No.

Did British gun control actually work....? Yes, no law abiding British citizen can get a gun......which is hardly a good thing since they aren't the ones shooting people in cars.......that is what the criminals are doing despite the fact that Britain confiscated the guns owned by law abiding Brits....

There were six shootings in 31 days in Birmingham between October and November, which claimed two lives – Connor Smith, 19, and Derek Junior Myers, 25. In February, Akhtar Javeed was shot and killed at his business premises.

There has been a rise in guns circulating in Britain. Birmingham has the highest rate of gun discharges in Britain per head of population.

In a Guardian interview last month, Ch Const Dave Thompson of the West Midlands force and the national lead for countering firearms, said police were trying to stop guns falling into the hands of criminals.

Yes...because then we can actually talk about why they are different.

First...please explain why British gun crime stayed at the same level after they confiscated guns if confiscation was supposed to reduce gun crime....

You will say they have less gun violence because they confiscated guns......I will correctly point out that obviously the criminals and mass shooters still get guns over there.....the difference that exists between the two countries is that their criminals do not commit murder against each other or innocent victims as often......

Criminals in Britain get guns....when they want them. They choose not to commit murder. American criminals also get guns...but they murder each other more often......having to do with generations of young males being raised by single teen mothers, with no adult male role models to teach them how to be civilized adult men.

It also stems from the fact that blacks...who do most of the murder, usually against other blacks, have had generations of social pathologies that you didn't find in Britain because Britain didn't import black slaves...they sent them over seas......Britain did not have a class of citizens that were isolated and segregated and preyed upon by the democrat political party. Racial strife was not part of British society.

Now....gun crime is up 4% in Britain...the ability of British culture to civilize young males into adult men is failing after generations of the welfare state...also...they have imported people from other countries who do not share British social norms against violence...and the foreign immigrant gangs are the ones doing a large part of the gun crime...

So yes...let's talk about the real difference in gun violence rates between the two countries......

Guns are a lot more common in Europe than you would think. As a matter of fact, if you are a tourist traveling solo through certain parts of Britain or France, you better pack heat. There are people there who would rent you handguns on a per day basis. It is not legal but some Die Hard tourists take this precaution.
