On Wednesday night Britain will have its eyes glued to TV screens as a Lotto jackpot worth over £50 million must be given away.

If you find yourself sighing cynically when friends say they've bought their lottery tickets this might be the week to look on the bright side.

One lucky person could walk away with the biggest jackpot in British history with a mammoth £50.4 million up for grabs after the Lotto rolled over for a seventh week.

Due to new rules the jackpot cannot rollover again which means it has to be given away by Saturday night's draw.
