Will put up details upon publishing. This is NOT Mueller though he might well be interested later in the "case".

Looking at "wire fraud, bank fraud and "election fraud" (FEC rules, I can assume).

Fox News' Judge Napolitano
DON'T MISS STORIES. FOLLOW RAW STORY!

Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano on Monday laid out the implications of an FBI raid on the office and home of longtime Donald Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, explaining that in order for a federal judge to green-light the raid, they had to believe “that among these seized documents is evidence of crimes by Mr. Cohen or Mr. Cohen and the president.”

Napolitano was speaking with Fox News host Neil Cavuto, who asked the judicial analyst to “make sense” of the news for him.

Napolitano pointed out that the first question people ask him is whether communications between Cohen and Trump are protected by attorney-client privilege, noting that’s not the case “if there’s a serious allegation of unlawful activity by the lawyer with the client.”

Napolitano explained that in this case, the lawyer is Cohen and his client is “his only client— the president of the United States.” The judge noted Cohen’s office is located on the 26th floor of Trump Tower and is hardly the “traditional” or “discreet” set-up one would expect from a lawyer....

Responding to news that President Donald Trump’s longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen had been raided by the FBI, a former federal prosecutor outlined how the bureau likely got their warrant to search the lawyer — and why it spells trouble for the lawyer.

“Having a search warrant executed at your business on a Monday is never a good day,” former U.S. attorney Chuck Rosenberg told MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace Monday.

To acquire their warrant to search Cohen’s business and home, the former prosecutor said, “the government must have concluded two things: probable cause that a crime had been committed, and probable cause that stuff or evidence that would prove that crime would be located in Mr. Cohen’s office.”

According to the New York Times, who first reported on the raid, the warrant to search the attorney’s home and business came from a referral made by special counsel Robert Mueller. That bit of the story, Rosenberg noted, demonstrates that although the raid was related to allegations made in Cohen and T

As I hear it, they're hoping for campaign finance violation's regarding the lawyer paying off the porn star chick. It's not related to Mueller's investigation, it's all New York government.

If it smells like BS, well, you know.

only someone insane could ignore reality the way you just did.

:cuckoo:
Yet there is no link or proof of anything, and you swallow it whole.

I saw this not only on MSNBC and CNN, but also on FOX. Yes, it's true, and it happened. Cohen's office was raided by FBI agents this afternoon.

Here's some links if you really need them..........................

So there's no evidence of fraud, they are hoping to find some.
Suppose they find evidence that Daniels and her attorney are extortionists.

Wouldn't be surprised, Stormy doesn't seem to have a whole lot of character (even outside her day job.)

As I hear it there's almost no chance they'll be able to connect the dots of the lawyer paying this chick off as an "in kind contribution." Us rich people give lawyers these things called "retainers" - it prepays for services. I have a $20,000 retainer on my personal lawyer, Trump having a $1M+ retainer with his lawyer would not surprise me in the slightest. If that's the case then Trump already paid the hush money and it wasn't a "contribution" as they'd like to imply. I suspect if they find any kind of retainer we'll never hear about this in the MSM again heh

.Then Stormy will work her "magic" on them.

Only problem with your theory is that both Trump and Cohen have said that Trump hasn't paid for it. Trump says that he had no knowledge of the NDA being signed, and Cohen has already said that he did it out of the goodness of his heart because Trump is a long time friend.

Michael Cohen says he used home equity line for Stormy Daniels payment - CNNPolitics

He has denied the Trump Organization's involvement in the payment, and both Cohen and the White House have denied any sexual encounter between the President and Clifford.

Stormy Daniels' attorney argues 'cover-ups matter'

"In a private transaction in 2016, I used my own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford," Cohen said in a statement in February. "Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly."

Yeah because they had SOOOO much TRUTHFUL evidence to spy on a opposition political campaign. They lied then to get a warrant they lied again to get this one.
