The margin for a 60-vote majority on healthcare reform is shaping up as a paper-thin one. So there are Democrats (and at least one independent) who are scrambling to get in front of any camera they can to say "MY vote is not settled yet." Which essentially means, "I'm gonna need my butt kissed a little more and some more perks for me and mine before you tally my vote in the aye column."
If you believe in the healthcare reform package you've cobbled together - why would anyone need to bribe you to vote in favor of it?
