if your company pays you a bonus and it was more than they intended do you have to give it back
I would ask HR. Don't want them to take it back when you least expect it.
What kind of dollars are we talking about?
You might end up in the position where they tell you they need to take back a thousand dollars because they paid you too much bonus - you say "No...and you cant' take it out of my pay either."
So you keep the thousand dollars and end up on their shit list.
Don't win the battle only to end up losing the war.
In the Army....
they don't even tell you, they just take it back.
But in the military, you really don't have any rights.
And certainly no way to file any kind of grievance....lol.
You must have missed 43 USC 1601-1624: You must send all overages to Abbey.
Only if ya wanna keep yer job.
