Maybe you were asleep for the month of December when the GOP said that absolutely nothing would get passed in Washington until there was an extension of the Bush Tax Cuts for the wealthy. You should take a second and read up on it.

soooo, in other words they won the election.....right, we knew that, and?

The GOP congressmen wouldn't start until January. The ones that were still in the Senate said that nothing, N-O-T-H-I-N-G, would be passed until the tax cuts for the wealthy were extended. Not for the middle class or poor, but the wealthy. Period. Full stop.

To claim this didn't happen, well, actually, that would be par for the course with you guys.
