Biden's Mother Dies After Falling Seriously Ill

WASHINGTON -- Vice President Joe Biden's 92-year-old mother has died after becoming seriously ill in recent days.

In a statement, the vice president says Jean Finnegan Biden died Friday in Wilmington, Del., surrounded by her family and loved ones. Biden says his mother was the center of the family, teaching them that faith will guide them through tough times.

I remember seeing her on T.V. while Mr. Biden spoke, they showed her beaming with pride. She was a great looking lady, she looked great for 92!



She got to see her son become the Vice President of the United States, and live a great life of 92 years.
