Solid point you make, but how long would it take? 5yrs? 10yrs? In the meantime, we have to do something lest lower wage Americans suffer.

The best solution is for Canada, the US, and Mexico to be relatively even on economic footing so as we could move more freely between borders. Sadly, that is not the case at this time.

At this point, we need at the very least a stop gap to keep Americans whole. And after all--------->it is an American Presidents job to do so. That is what the constituents voted him/her in to do.
