Benghazi-Gate uncovered: Hillary Clinton to testify

The Benghazi attack that killed four Americans on September 11, 2012, will not be swept under the rug as U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton prepares to testify before the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee on December 20, 2012.

During a Senate meeting held on November 26, 2012, UN Ambassador Susan Rice admitted to delivering inaccurate and misleading information to the public, on behalf of the Obama Administration. Rice apologized for misleading the public stating that her comments were “incorrect in a key respect.”

During a Meet the Press interview on September 16th, Rice recited CIA talking points claiming the Benghazi attack was retaliation against a “hateful and offensive video that was widely disseminated throughout the Arab and Muslim world.”

The Obama administration was widely criticized for its perceived cover up of information pointing to terrorist groups who led the attack that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. Records show that President Obama was aware the attacks were led by terrorist groups, to include Al Qaeda.

Rice’s admission came after Barack Obama was re-elected to his second term as President of the United States.

    Now it’s Clintons turn.

During an interview with CNN, Clinton assumed responsibility, but not blame, for decision made relating to the Benghazi attack. “I’m in charge of the State Department’s 60,000 plus people all over the world,” Clinton said.

Clinton claimed that the president and vice-president wouldn’t be “knowledgeable about specific decision” made during the Benghazi attack,” leading critics asking “who’s in charge” and questioning the communication gap between Clinton and Obama regarding threats to our National Security.

In an attempt to shift blame for Obama’s incompetence as Commander-in-Chief, Clinton said that Obama and Biden had not been involved in security decision, but would not comment on the information the two received during the attack.
