I agree with this stance on the homosexual debate (read "Gay Marriage").
However, isn't there a valid argument that abortion is a political issue, not because of the moral choice but because a key element of socialism is to devalue the individual? Abortion law does that by bringing onto the question of when a fetus becomes a human. Slowly a person becomes less a person until the law declares it so. Eventually, humanity becomes something legislated rather than something divinely created. Isn't this what Republicans are often unknowingly invoking when they use the buzz words "culture of life"?
