Hahaha!!! Oh man....this shit keeps getting better.

So...the outrcy against militarized police helped cause the mayor of Baltimore to under equip her officers. And...they had 160 officers hurt...and had to retreat several times. Related articles say cops were given orders of "retreat", "do not engage" from commanders, and told not to engage rioters.

NOW...she orders a mass shipment of militarized riot gear.....shes worried. About what? My guess is the prosecutor has warned her that the cops probably will be cleared.

More like they want more and newer equipment so that excuse is as good as any. In the past they've used excuses like Criminals have more guns, higher or lower crime rates, great deals on equipment etc

"Haha"?

Why do you find this "funny"?

Because Baltimore is a shining example of what decades of Democrat control results in. And that she is now doing what lefties detest....arming cops with scary equipment. But she has to. Her lesser equipped PD lost the riot.

I think she realizes that most of her people are a bunch of violent assholes and is finally doing what needs to be done.

If I was a white cop I'd find another job as I am about ready to be blamed for anything I do.

In Baltimore they are. The ones who are within 5 years of retirement will stick it out...and avoid people at all costs.

The ones hired within last 10 years will bolt.

The ones stuck in that 11-20 year grey area are screwed. They're invested there...but far from retirement. About half will stay...half will bolt (the best qualified ones)

Police forces all over the nation are more milatarized and its not because they "need" it.

By your own logic, Charleston is a "shining example of what decades of Democrat control results in".
You remember Charleston? The place you've been rightly commending over the last week for its peaceful coming together?

Oopsie. There goes that cum hoc fallacy. Better go to Plan B. :50:

Wanna check the party affiliation of Charleston County Council, Charleston sheriffs, Charleston/Lowcountry senators over the past 40 years?

Wanna check the party affiliation of virtually all cities?

Even better -- wanna essplain how being in charge of what day the trash gets picked up translates to the actions of its social fabric, as if it's some kind of remote control that causes everything? Wanna essplain how you come to the cockamamie idea that political parties control everything?

No. Didn't think so. :lame2:

Wave bye-bye to your lame fallacy. I just stuck a fork in it. It got burnt. :bye1:

Police forces all over the nation are more milatarized and its not because they "need" it.

Sure they do.

M4 rifles: FAR more accurate than a pistol or shotgun. With all the mass shootings in open spaces full of innocents...its critical that cops have more accurate weapons.

Helmets/Vests: Obvious. Riots increasing. Cops get hurt. No one wants cops getting hurt.

Armored trucks: Great for evacuations. Great to protect from rifles. And CHEAP! A private sector truck is 500K. Gov surplus is free. Dallas attack showed how valuable these are. Sure...probly never need it. But your kids school has fire extinguishers. Probly never need those. Better to have it.

BDU uniforms: Durable and cheap. Budget is better off with them. Unfortunately. ..the typically only come in colors liberals are scared off: black, camo, desert tan and OD green.

YES lets check party dominance of cities and counties and states.

Shitholes....

Detroit. Chicago. Ferguson. Baltimore. LA. Cleveland. Democrat dominated.

Ferguson's Republican actually.
Guess that means the Republican way of setting what the trash day is causes riots. Your logic.

Meanwhile, all those cities with no such history -- they too are "Democrat controlled". Including Charleston. But that's not a factor in selective logic.

Again --- oopsie.

You keep leaning on this bullshit cum hoc fallacy, you're just gonna dig yourself deeper and deeper.

:dig:

You cant grasp this. "Controlled" doesnt mean having say a Democrat mayor...surrounded by a GOP city and county council, senator, house reps, sheriff, etc.

"Controlled" means almost all elected positions...for a long time...are by one party.

Show me what city is dominated by Democrats in almost all elected positions...which isnt a shit hole?

I told you, there is always excuses. But just because the equipment is "better" doesnt make it a "need" more than a "want".

Its the beast feeding itself

No I can't grasp how you expect a cum hoc fallacy to get off the ground. It amazes me that you're dim enough to keep floating this turd.

Excuses...like being safer for the officers and public...and being more budget friendly? Ah yes. We wouldnt want that.

You say being "better" is a want, not a need? When lives of officers and the public are the topic...being "better" isnt a need or want...its a must.

Liberals of course want anarchy so they wont understand.

No. It doesnt. Joe has been mayor since 1975. Hes the lone Democrat in a GOP dominated region. Mostly because he makes compromises and stays FAR away from social issues. Anyone from here knows Joe is a figure head for Old Money Charleston and The Battery neighborhood. The rest? Charleston City Council and County Council run it.

Poster please. Your selective cum hoc position is a lying sack of shit.
