Blow-up sex dolls circa 1970
I have no problem with these sorta things. So pathetic it's comical. But today, these are available and I have a big big problem with them.
"The disturbing advert, spotted by an advocacy group on Facebook called Dining for Dignity, shows the model of a girl, who does not look much older than 9 or 10.
Described as a “beautiful young girl sex doll for men,” the item costs $178 and is available to ship worldwide."
Chinese Site Sells Child-Sized Sex Doll Protest Group Launched
Not comfortable even copying the image here, but is at the link. Sufficed to say it's a solid sorta latex doll that looks like a prepubescent girl. And as these things go, this is the low-end of what's available. Are celebrity versions of young girls as well.
Disturbingly, the only time these are illegal is in jurisdictions that ban other 'sexual aides' as well like dildos and vibrators. But by virtue of it looking like a minor that alone doesn't (yet) make it illegal. But it should be.
One of the standards often applied to image child-pornography is if "a reasonable member of your community would be unable to distinguish between a real photograph and a simulation." (paraphrasing.) These "dolls" are so realistic that at a distance I wouldn't doubt a passer-by seeing an adult and one of these things would be aghast. So shouldn't that standard be applied here?
