When there's as much money to be made as there is controlling the DRUG INDUSTRY in Mexico, I guess one must expect such things.

Nice of the Mexican people to put up with all crime that on OUR BEHALF, isn't it?

    Gracias, amigos.

    LOL... ed

    But let's be realistic here...

For the foreseeable future the American society will not reach an agreement about the legalization of narcotics. Just like gun control...

Currently, the draconian american legislation punishes with jail time even recreational drug users (gross injustice) so the country will take decades if not centuries to legalise the use of mind altering substances, if ever.

It would be totally unrealistic for Mexico to expect this kind of change so the country must be prepared to pay whatever price is necessary to expel the drug cartels from its territory, even if it means all out civil war if it really wants to get rid of it (obviously, they will operate from somewhere else but that wouldn't be Mexico's problem anymore).

Blaming America for its geographical location is not only unfair but an exercise in futility unless geologists find a way to relocate 50% of the North American Plate to Europe, Africa or Asia.
