FWIW, our dollars are helping defeat communism to this day. Sort of a Marshall Plan effect. The debate is should we embargo them like Cuba or win them with our money like we're SLOWLY doing to China. China may become our overlords but at least they're semi-capitalistic authoritarians now not commies, right?

On a side note: A decade or so ago a salesman came to me with this gruff biker guy Vietnam vet and asked where something was made. I told them some PC version of, "Vietnam, the sons and daughters of every whore a U.S. soldier paid knows where the money comes from and I guess we're finishing winning that war."

I own a $350,000 house in South Florida, drive a $70,000 vehicle (both of which are paid for) and have a Monthly income of over $5,000 -- Without working.
