AR-15 shooting a single .223 round literally rips upper half of the body from victims lower half

Correct.
It was created under Congress's power to raise armies.
Paid for out of the federal budget.
Not militia
Wrong. The Militia act of 1903 made the Militia dual purpose. It’s not rocket science. A militia, even a state one which the guard is, without federal funding and support is useless. It serves both the states, and the Fed. Anyone who served in a guard unit knows that. A militia is useless to both the state and the Fed if it doesn’t have that same equivalent support and training as a standing army. It must work seamlessly with both.
Read it instead of guessing. Any in state agency can call the guard for a variety of pre approved by the govenor aid. It’s what a militia is suppose to do.

It’s not just cowboys with guns….they can provide medical aid, evac services, storm cleanup, help restore infrastructure and a variety of things your unorganized, untrained and unfunded non regulated militia can’t do….
Thats what WELL REGULATED is all about.

The national Guard is the federalized portion of the supposed militia but in reality, it is not militia at all it is part of the army. 46 states have militias separate from the Guard.
In reality…it’s what the act says…read it…

All adult Males 18-54 who are not ( Current Duty Military ) ( Members of Law Enforcement ) ( Members of State House or Senate ) are considered Militia if Governor of California calls for Militia
Yes, the California can call for the irregular militia to meet at an appointed place and time to be organized and regulated as a formal militia.

Any who fail to do so but try to maintain an unorganized militia can be arrested and their weapons confiscated.

We train Legally ( To be ready for call ) and have done so and been Largest Militia in the Country from 2011-2015

The founders lived in a world of black powder firearms, knives, harchets, bayonets and pikes.
Btw, fascism is RIGHT WING. That’s the Trump clan.
LOL .. so for the First Amendment, that means all technology, advancements are out .. like social media, radio, the Internet, television .. etc .. because .. the founding father lived in a world of printed material on paper and word of mouth.

Thanks for making my point for me. None of it is out, that’s the point. The SC is presently deciding and has decided in the past, how Facebook, Twitter etc all play into the first amendment. Why ? Because none of those, including the cell phone were ever on the mind of our founding fathers. Why do you think you need a court order to listen in on cellphone calls….,because none of our rights are absolute and freedom of speech isn’t either.
It’s ultimately an SC decision and legislation.

The Supreme Court already ruled on the Second Amendment .. and this precedent (which is already set) applies to modern advancements. It's naive to believe the cap is 18th century technology because that's when the constitution is ratified.

Yes they did. Read the Heller decision. The last word on gun control….. The FFA is still in tact and DC still requires handgun licensing and registration….

And all referred to black powder fire arms. And all references to gov were to the British, not the colonials who set up their own constitution and militia.
Wrong, all those remarks were made AFTER the ratification of the Constitution. The founders didn’t trust government of any sort not to become corrupt and tyrannical. You are the kind of person the founders feared would seize power by disarming the people.

We already liaised with the Sheriffs of 5 Counties as Search & Rescue .
Well there you go…anything you do with a firearm is subject all the firearm regs that apply to citizens of California.

Now the real well regulated militia when called up, will come when needed, armed with all the “ stuff” you can only dream about.

Exactly
I’m sure they can help in search and rescue etc but NO UNORGANIZED militia is protected from liability in the use of firearms. There are only a few state and federal sanctioned organizations that are.
We train ( Legally ) with Firearms ( And most of our ranks have California CCW so we can have loaded Firearms in our vehicles & on our Person

Well there you go…you need to conform to the firearm regs as any private citizen. You aren’t a guard unit, who BTW is MORE regulated in fireman carry than you. If they go out on a call, even if they have a concealed permit THEY CANNOT have any firearm on their person when in uniform unless it’s an issued firearm and they are under orders to have it on their person. That’s what WELL REGULATED is about.
